CSUN Baseball's eight-game win streak came to an end with a 9-2 defeat against No. 6 Oregon State at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field. Despite a strong performance from Thomas Bainton, who pitched five innings and allowed only one run, the Matadors succumbed to a five-run inning by the Beavers after tying the game 1-1 in the sixth.
