NORTHRIDGE, Calif.—CSUN's Lauryn Carranco was named the Big West Pitcher of the Week for a second time this season on March 4, as announced by the league office. Carranco has pitched a total of 57.2 innings in ten games this season, five of which were complete games. Carranco would pitch two more complete games this weekend at the San Diego Classic, both of which Matador victories. In 14 total innings, she allowed just one run while scattering five hits and striking out 17 total batters.
