NORTHRIDGE, Calif.—No. 23 CSUN Water Polo posted a wire-to-wire 14-5 win over Siena in its home opener on Thursday at Matador Pool. Dorottya Telek and Anna Pal had four goals and two assists apiece while Shelby Hovanesian added three goals and two assists. HOW IT HAPPENED Pal opened up the scoring 36 seconds into the match while Telek added to the lead less than minute later for an early 2-0 lead. Lucia Fernandez Caballero put Siena on the scoreboard at the 6:22 mark of the first period, but CSUN answered with a 3-0 run.
