More than 20 Radiologic Sciences program students attended a national conference in Las Vegas, Nevada from Jan 31st to Feb 2nd, 2024.
The Association of Collegiate of Educators in Radiologic Technology (ACERT) holds an annual conference in Las Vegas, Nevada attracting over 800 Radiologic Sciences educators, students, hospital administrators, and imaging technologists from all over the United States. Among many imaging students representing their schools, four of CSUN's RS students submitted their essays and scientific boards to enter into a competition.
One of our senior students, Jacqueline Chong, was awarded second for her scientific poster titled: " The Back-to-Back Battle of Lumbar Spine Radiography"
The program faculty are so proud of Jacqueline and all the CSUN RS students who participated in the competitions to advance our profession. Go Matadors!
