In a Big West match, the CSUN Matadors secured a 3-1 victory over Cal State Bakersfield, putting an end to their three-match losing streak. Sophomore Leah Miller had a standout performance with a season-high 21 kills, hitting .450. Perri Starkey also contributed significantly with 17 kills and 18 digs, completing her seventh double-double of the season. Setter Carisa Barron recorded 29 assists, 11 digs, and nine kills, earning her eighth double-double of the season. CSUN outperformed Bakersfield in hitting percentage and team digs. The Matadors will face Hawai’i in their next match.
