CSUN Women’s Soccer will conclude their 2023 season with a home match against UC Riverside on Thursday night. Last week, the Matadors were eliminated from the Big West tournament after a high-scoring loss to UC San Diego. CSUN fought back with three goals, but ultimately fell short. They then had an emotional Senior Day match against UC Irvine, which ended in a 0-0 draw. CSUN’s six seniors, including Kacie Garrity and Ashley Cruz, will play their final games for the team. Izabel Reyes has had a standout season with five goals, placing her sixth in the Big West. CSUN has dominated past meetings with UC Riverside, winning the last seven matchups.
