CSUN women’s volleyball team suffered a 3-0 loss at the hands of conference-leading UC Santa Barbara in a Big West match. Despite Carisa Barron’s impressive triple-double performance, with 13 kills, 15 assists, and 19 digs, the Matadors fell short. The Gauchos out-hit the Matadors, with a final score of 298 to .102. CSUN has struggled on the road this season, losing for the ninth time in 10 matches. The team will return home for their next game against Cal State Bakersfield, looking to bounce back from this defeat.
