Redshirt sophomore outside hitter Lizzy Markovska led the charge for the Cal Poly Mustangs as they earned a 3-0 sweep over CSUN on Thursday. Markovska recorded 11 kills, while four other Mustangs contributed with at least five kills each. Cal Poly’s defense proved dominant, holding CSUN to a .084 hitting percentage. The Mustangs took control of the match in the first set, pulled away in the second, and comfortably secured the victory in the third. With this win, Cal Poly now sits in fourth place in the Big West standings and will face CSU Bakersfield next.
