CSUN women’s volleyball team falls to Hawai’i in straight sets

CSUN women’s volleyball team struggles offensively and drops a straight-set decision at Hawai’i in a Big West match. Despite the efforts of Perri Starkey, Iye Okolo, and Carisa Barron, who each had a team-high four kills, CSUN’s offense struggled throughout the match. The host Rainbow Wahine dominated with a .402 hitting percentage, while CSUN hit -.035 as a team. Additionally, CSUN did not record a block, and Hawai’i had a 32-23 advantage in digs. The Rainbow Wahine won all three sets comfortably. CSUN will look to bounce back in their upcoming four-match homestand against UC Riverside.
