The CSUN Matadors women’s volleyball team is wrapping up their non-conference schedule with matches against UTRGV, San Jose State, and the San Francisco Dons. After an 0-3 weekend in Portland, the Matadors are looking to bounce back with wins. UTRGV comes into the weekend with a 6-4 record, while San Jose State is 7-3. The San Francisco Dons have a 3-6 record and have won their last four matches against CSUN. Graduate transfer Kelsey Knudsen and redshirt junior Taylor Hunter have been standouts for the Matadors, and junior Carisa Barron is adding double-doubles to her impressive season. The Matadors will soon shift their focus to Big West play.
