CSUN freshman Nicole Tanoue had a record-setting day as she finished third at 9-under 207 in her collegiate debut, leading the Matadors to a 14th-place finish at the Timpanogos Collegiate Invitational. Tanoue broke both the school’s single-round and 54-hole scoring records, and her performance helped CSUN set a new program record for a 54-hole score. Despite the team’s improvement throughout the tournament, Grand Canyon University took home the team title.
