CSUN freshman Nicole Tanoue is tied for second place after two rounds of the Timpanogos Collegiate Invitational at Timpanogos Golf Club. Tanoue shot a First-round 65, followed by a 2-under 70 in the second round, totaling 9-under 135. The CSUN team is currently 13th out of 19 teams, improving their score to 588 after shooting 5-over 293 in the second round. Grand Canyon is leading the tournament with a score of 559. CSUN’s Elle Laur also had a strong round, shooting a 2-under 70. Coach Michelle Winkler expressed confidence in the team’s performance for the final round.
