CSUN loses a close match to Eastern Washington in five sets

Eastern Washington Eagles defeat CSUN Matadors in a thrilling five-set non-conference match in Portland. CSUN fought hard, with Leah Miller leading the team with 16 kills. Perri Starkey and Carisa Barron also had impressive performances with double-doubles. Despite CSUN’s efforts, Eastern Washington out-hit them with a .257 to .192 hitting percentage. The Eagles’ strong serving and overall performance secured their victory. CSUN coach John Price expressed frustration but remains optimistic about the team’s future matches. CSUN will face off against the Portland Pilots next.
