CSUN Graduate Taylor Thames Nominated for NCAA Woman of the Year

CSUN graduate Taylor Thames has been named one of the two Big West nominees for the 2023 NCAA Woman of the Year award. Thames, a two-sport athlete and a leader off the field, served as CSUN’s Student Athlete Advisory Committee co-president and was involved in various organizations promoting diversity and inclusion. Thames hopes to inspire young women in sports to dream big and use their voices for change. In addition, she excelled as a goalkeeper in women’s soccer and competed as a sprinter in track & field. The NCAA Woman of the Year program recognizes the academic achievements, athletic excellence, community service, and leadership of graduating female college athletes.
