CSUN Women’s Soccer suffered a 2-1 defeat in an exhibition match against California Baptist. Paige Califf scored the lone goal for CSUN in the 77th minute, but it wasn’t enough to overcome a two-goal deficit. CSUN fought back late in the game, creating chances to equalize, but were unable to convert. Despite the loss, the team showed signs of organization defensively and will continue to work on their performance. They have one more exhibition match against Hope International before the season starts.
