4. Cal State Northridge won their first series over Long Beach State since 2015, with CSUN knocking off the 49ers who had led the Big West in undefeated fashion entering the weekend. CSUN had already won game one of the series, then took the win in the final game of the weekend, the nightcap of a doubleheader on Saturday. The Matadors picked up the 7-1 win to clinch the series, which also happened to be the 1,500th victory in the history of the CSUN program.
