Joe Estacio is a Filipino-American writer. He earned his bachelor's degree in Theatre from California State University, Northridge. As a student, Joe took acting classes. He was inspired to write children's books for his kids after becoming a father. His first published book, “When I Was Young,” is an illustrated book for young readers. Reading and writing are lifelong passions for him, but the idea of publishing a book began a decade ago from reading to his children. He was able to realize how different his life was from that of younger generations by telling his own stories and listening to what his children had to say.
