SOC 585T: Arts-Based Research Methods

In this course, we focused on the ways in which arts-based methods intersect with indigenous, anti-oppressive and decolonizing approaches to research in order to harmonize the heart, mind, body and spirit. Key to this intersection was the focus on interconnectedness, our relationship to ourselves, to one another, to our environment, and to our earth while using the arts as a form of social justice.
