Bike Fest at California State University, Northridge: The College of Social and Behavioral Sciences presents the event that includes bike demos and safety, bike vendors, spin classes, a job fair, music and food trucks, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Oct. 23. Also, a “Meet the Pros” panel discussion, noon-1:30 p.m., and a group ride, 2 p.m. (fun dress code: wear a costume). Free admission. CSUN, 18111 Nordhoff St., Northridge.
