Velázquez Endorsed by United Teachers of Pasadena and City Leaders in PUSD District 7 Election

Velázquez is a third-generation educator who said she understands education’s power in changing one’s circumstances. She currently teaches predominantly freshman and first generation college students in the Chicana/o Studies Department at California State University, Northridge. Both of her children attend San Rafael Elementary.
