The son of 19-year NBA veteran Metta Sandiford-Artest, Artest averaged 2.6 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.3 assists across 34 games in three seasons at Cal State Northridge (2018-21) and also tallied 2.8 points and 1.7 rebounds in six outings for the Delaware Blue Coats and Sioux Falls Skyforce during the 2021-22 NBA G League campaign.
