Rachel Huynh, violinist, is also a senior graduating in June from Burroughs High School. During her high school years, she has studied piano, voice, and violin, and has been selected as a performer in master classes with various professional violinists. Rachel participated in BHS Orchestra and Madrigal Singers, and earned a Solo and Ensemble superior rating at SCSBOA Festival. Her community involvement includes performing in the Ridgecrest Opera Workshop. Rachel also enjoys writing; she has been published in the BHS newspaper. Her plans include attending CSU Northridge to major in psychology; however, she stated she hopes to balance her academic studies with continued musical studies. Rachel is the daughter of Lewis Huynh and Kim Nguyen.
