During his teens, William became a DJ and came up with the nickname ‘vvill’, that is a shorthand for will. He joined the business school at Cal State Northridge but dropped out soon to pursue entrepreneurship. He launched his own advertising agency, made strategic plans and scaled it. But he left his company in 2022 to focus completely on music and set up a prominent stage for himself. At college, he also did some production work with Insomniac that helped him gain experience.
