Noteworthy: Alonso struck out eight batters and pitched a complete-game shutout to lead Long Beach Poly to a 3-0 upset win on the road against Lakewood on March 15. Alonso was the 2021 Moore League softball pitcher of the year. She will play Division I softball at Cal State Northridge.
