PRESIDENT’S THANK YOU
Thank you for taking part in the Presidential Investiture as we mark this special occasion in our campus’ history. I am honored to serve as President of California State University, Northridge and to be part of an academic community where together we advance inquiry, discovery, innovation and opportunity in service of the public good.
We join together to both celebrate CSUN’s rich legacy and also to turn a crisp new page in our collective journey that we will write together. Thanks to the exemplary leadership of the five presidents who preceded me, and the tremendous contributions of the many thousands of students, faculty and staff who have created an extraordinary university, we have the enviable opportunity to build upon a foundation of excellence.
I am filled with gratitude for everyone who has planned and participated in today’s festivities. And I am deeply and humbly grateful for all of you — CSUN students, alumni, faculty, staff, CSU trustees and our extended family of partners and friends — for welcoming me to serve with you. Together, we will continue our important work of transforming individual lives, family trees, and entire communities for a brighter, more equitable future for us all.
