After graduating, she was awarded an athletic scholarship to play D1 collegiate women’s soccer at Eastern Washington University. After 2 years at EWU, Anessa transferred to D1 Cal State University Northridge, where she is currently playing soccer and pursuing her BA in Criminology and Justice Studies. While pursuing her college career, Anessa continues to train for the USDWNT. Anessa is determined and has been working hard for this opportunity to compete at the next level representing the USA. Anessa’s determination has paid off and is now officially rostered as a player of the US Deaf National Woman’s team. Anessa will be competing in Brazil and is ecstatic to represent the US.
