Revitalize Student Multimedia Art Competition

The CSUN Revitalize CCRP: Student Art Competition is an opportunity for CSUN students to show trauma turned to resilience through art as a result of the pandemic.

This student competition is meant to propel the CSUN community forward through the trauma and turbulence that has been the past 2 years. Students will be able to create art that fits into three categories: Fine Arts, Photography, and Poetry/Song. For each category, the top submission, which will be selected by a panel of judges, will receive a $1,000 monetary prize. In addition, there will be a Matadors Choice Award, where CSUN students will vote for their overall favorite art piece.

There will also be a total of $500 in giveaways for all CSUN community members who attend the event.

The student art showcase will be held at Soraya’s Grand Lobby on April 19th from 3:00pm-5:00pm.

Programing during the first hour will invite guests to sit for the performances of poetry and song. Art submitted in the fine arts and photography categories will have its pieces displayed on easels in the Grand Lobby.
