The social isolation we have experienced is unprecedented in the modern world.
Social isolation can have a significant effect on health and well-being. Our isolation from loved ones, friends, colleagues and simply being unable to be in spaces and places with others has resulted in many of us experiencing dissatisfaction across many areas of our lives including depression, poor sleep quality, reduced cognitive function, and suicide rates.
