Always interested in sign language, Eliezer received her BA in Deaf Studies from California State University, Northridge in 2007 and then her AS degree in Pastry Arts from The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College in 2011. “Deaf studies you’re communicating with your hands,; pastries you’re sort of communicating in that sense too,” Eliezer said. “So, there’s some overlap in that way.”
