Local author writes his way out of the dark

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Danbury earned an associate’s degree in liberal arts from De Anza College in Cupertino and then followed his father’s quest to serve and see the world, via the Navy. Three years later, the decorated Navy veteran pursued his life-long desire to get into film via film school at Cal State Northridge.
