Islamization, Women's Rights and Feminist Engagement: A conversation on Afghanistan

We hope you can join us for an important and timely discussion on feminist responses to Islamization and imperialism. While the conversation will consider Afghanistan, our speakers will also discuss their research and activism in relation to Iran, Pakistan, and Iraq. We will address some the ways in which Islamization, imperialism, and women's rights are entangled, and consider the possibilities for political action and transnational feminist solidarity.
