NC State settles buyout with former men’s basketball coach Mark Gottfried

NC State made payments to Gottfried from April 2017 through Sept. 2018 and owed him an additional $520,000. The original amount owed was reduced when Gottfried accepted a position at Cal State-Northridge ahead of the 2018-19 campaign.
