Tom Loo joined the US Census Bureau in 1997 as a TIGER digitizing clerk in the Los Angeles
Regional Oce. He subsequently transferred to Census Bureau HQ in Suitland, MD and
worked on the Nonresponse Follow-up operation during the 2000 Census. After the 2000
Census, he participated in the redesign eorts of the Census Bureau's master address le and
geographic partnership programs. Currently, Tom is the Program Coordinator for the Census
Bureau's National Advisory Committee on Racial, Ethnic, and Other Populations.
