Student Housing and Residential Life
Student Housing (University Park Apartments and Suites) for Spring 2021 will be provided on a limited basis, as per LA County Department Public Health guidance (LACDPH).
Our goal at CSUN is to provide a safe and healthy residential experience for students, primarily those in need of campus housing during Spring 2021, while also ensuring that necessary protocols are in place to minimize the spread of COVID-19 in the residential environment. With that in mind, CSUN’s facilities management and Environmental Health & Safety staff are closely collaborating with the Student Housing team to ensure protocols are in place to support these goals.
Adaptations to physical layouts and uses of rooms and common spaces have been implemented to support the ability of CSUN Housing residents to maintain appropriate physical distancing and to observe recommended cleaning and disinfecting practices following CDC disinfecting guidelines. In addition, other specific and stringent protocols are being implemented, including: limited nonessential visitors; a safety plan for residents that includes COVID testing, daily self-screening and contact tracing; and designated isolation/quarantine units.
Providing a safe and welcoming housing environment conducive to student health, well-being and academic success is a top priority. Find out more about housing and how to apply at CSUN Housing and Residential Life.
