It took some time, but Cal State Northridge (1-7) on Saturday came away with its first victory of the season, thanks in large part to junior guard Terrell Gomez. He scored 31 points, going 7 for 14 from 3-point range, to lead the Matadors to a 73-72 victory over Fresno State at CSUN.
