Biography
Akash Gupta is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Systems and Operations Management. He completed his Ph.D. from School of Industrial Engineering & Management at Oklahoma State University. He received his bachelor’s degree from Uttar Pradesh Technical University, India and Master’s from Indian Institute of Technology (BHU)- Varanasi, India. His research interest includes data analytics and logistics. His research in healthcare analytics received accolades and a financial award from the American College of Physicians. Also, his research efforts in the area of logistics were acknowledged for the work that received 2016 Honorable Mention for Best Applications Paper in IISE Transaction on Design and Manufacturing. He is passionate about improving public health by integrating engineering and medicine, and willing to collaborate with people of the same interest.
