Humanities Advocacy Day features a performance and workshop by community group #VigilantLOVE, as well as a student-faculty panel on immigration and incarceration.
Drawing connections between the rise in Islamophobia in recent years, with the incarceration of Japanese Americans, as well as current immigration and incarceration policies that target communities of color, #VigilantLOVE’s mission is to create spaces for connection, solidarity work and grassroots movement in the greater L.A. Area.
