CSUN Nazarian College Alumnus Chuck Noski Honored as 2019 AACSB Influential Leader
Fourth annual initiative recognizes 33 business school graduates creating lasting impact in the world.
Northridge, CA (February 5, 2019)—CSUN’s Nazarian College announces that alumnus Chuck Noski is one of 33 business school graduates honored by AACSB International(AACSB)—the world’s largest business education alliance—as the 2019 Class of Influential Leaders. The annual challenge recognizes notable alumni from AACSB-accredited schools whose inspiring work serves as a model for the next generation of business leaders.
“AACSB is honored to recognize Chuck Noski and congratulates CSUN’s Nazarian College for its role in preparing alumni who are leading examples of business education as a force for good in the world,” said Thomas R. Robinson, president and CEO of AACSB. “The diversity of backgrounds, industries, and career paths of the 2019 Class of Influential Leaders demonstrates that AACSB-accredited schools are preparing graduates to succeed wherever their passions may take them.”
Chuck Noski currently serves as the Chairman on the Board of the Financial Accounting Foundation (FAF). Following graduation, Noski spent nearly 20 years with Deloitte, a Big Four accounting firm, and went on to pursue senior leadership positions at Bank of America, Northrop Grumman Corporation, AT&T, and Hughes Electronics. Noski now serves as a member of the board of directors and chair of the audit committees of Booking Holdings Inc. and Microsoft Corporation. Following his retirement from Bank of America, Noski was appointed to his current position on the Board of the Financial Accounting Foundation and was recognized as an emeritus director for life of the CSUN Foundation board in 2011.
“This recognition is well deserved. Not only is Chuck Noski remarkably accomplished in his career, but his impact has been felt much closer to home among our students and the CSUN community through his support of students and the college. His endowed scholarship provides educational opportunities for many deserving accounting students. He mentors and provides career guidance to many of these same students recognizing the importance of supporting the next generation of business leaders,” said Chandra Subramaniam, dean of the Nazarian College. “More importantly, Chuck Noski is showing students all they can achieve through hard work and a higher education. His respected leadership and influence will positively impact the accounting profession and the students of the Nazarian College well into the future.”
Now its fourth year, the Influential Leaders challenge has recognized almost 200 business school graduates for creating lasting impact in business and society. All honorees are have earned an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degree from one of the more than 800 AACSB-accredited business schools worldwide.
