CSUN Fast Pitch Announces 2018 Winners
In preparation for the high-stakes “Bull Ring” New Venture Competition in Spring, which comes with tens of thousands of dollars in prizes, students practiced putting their best pitch forward at the fourth annual Fast Pitch New Venture Competition.
On November 15, the David Nazarian College of Business and Economics hosted their fourth annual Fast Pitch. Fast Pitch is an “elevator pitch” competition where eight finalist students or student-teams have three minutes and three slides to pitch their business venture to a panel of professional judges and an audience. Each team presentation is followed by a five to seven-minute question and answer session with the judges.
In first place was Horizon Covers who won a $2,000 prize, in second place was Matador Sol Sauce who won $1,000 and an additional $500 as the audience’s choice team, and in third place was Bookmark winning $500. (Read more about the winners here.)
