Dear Faculty and Staff,
My heart goes out to all of you who have been affected by the area fires in the past week. Please know that the college is here to support our College of Education faculty, staff, and students who have been impacted. Faculty, staff, and students may have also been impacted by the recent Borderline shootings. Below are campus resources for those in need of support from the events of the past week. As an additional resource, today Nancy O’Rode will present on “What I learned about House Insurance, and what you should know” from 1-2PM in Ed 1214/1216 following her experience of losing her home to the Thomas fire. And because we need it more than ever, we will offer our regular meditation session this Wednesday, November 14th, from 1-1:30 in the CTL conference room. Finally, please plan on sharing a College of Education Thanksgiving feast this Thursday, Nov. 15th, at our all college meeting from 12-2 in Ed 1214/1216. This is a time to be grateful and heal.
Please know that the Dean’s Office is here to support our college family. Thank you for caring for each other and please take care of yourselves during this challenging time.
Warmly,
Shari
