Jenn Wolfe, Ed.D., Director and Primary Investigator: Jenn has her Educational Doctorate from the University of Southern California in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Teacher Education in Multicultural Societies. She is an Assistant Professor of Secondary Education at CSUN, the Program Advisor for the English Education M.A. cohort, and is a former high school English and middle school English teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District.
Traci Dennis, Ed.D., Associate Director: Traci is an Assistant Professor of Secondary Education at Cal State Northridge. She has an extensive background teaching and leading in underserved secondary schools and has been a middle and high school English Teacher in various PK-12 schools in Los Angeles and Chicago. Most recently she was a Senior Professorial Lecturer and Undergraduate Teacher Preparation Program Director at American University in Washington DC, and previously served as the Curriculum and Professional Development Manager for the District of Columbia Public Schools where she led a team of teachers in developing Common Core aligned curriculum for ELA teachers in grades 6-12.
Pamela Holguin-Brown, M.A., Co-Director:
Matthew Brown M.A., Co-Director: Matt earned his B.A from The Master’s University and has an M.A. in Secondary Education from California State University, Northridge. He taught junior high and high school English for 22 years and currently is an associate professor and the single subject coordinator in the School of Education at The Master’s University. Matt has presented at several conferences and has published articles in English Journal and California English.
