Facilitated By:
Marcy De Veaux, Department of Journalism
Description:
How you see the world might lead to misperceptions of people and groups that are different from you. This 90-minute workshop is designed to give participants the tools to discover their own personal bias that can shape our perceptions about people and groups, often leading to micro-aggressions that can cause harm and trauma impacting co-workers, students, even those in your personal lives.
This November 1st session is designed specifically for staff and administrators. Faculty are encouraged to attend the October 2nd session.
