About the Speaker: Dr. Zhou received his Ph.D. in Financial Economics from the University of California at Riverside in 1993 and joined CSUN faculty in 1998. He has taught investments, corporate finance, derivatives, and mergers and acquisitions at both graduate and undergraduate levels. His research focuses on asset pricing, derivatives, dividend policy, capital and real estate markets, and recently on the initial public offerings in emerging markets, with publications in academic journals, such as Review of Quantitative Finance and Accounting, Review of Pacific Basin Financial Markets and Policies, Emerging Markets Review, The Chinese Economy, China & World Economy, Econometric Reviews, Studies in Nonlinear Dynamics & Econometrics, Journal of Real Estate Research, Journal of Real Estate Portfolio Management, and International Journal of Business.
