Fantasy in Pop Culture

Critical Theory Club (CTC) is very excited to announce that we have an event approaching that discusses themes of fantasy in pop culture. Our very own Dr. Higgs, Dr. Wexler, and graduate student, Abe Zapata will be presenting at this event. Ultimately, they will be exploring large questions about fantasy: Why are so many people attached to the world of fantasy? How do different shows/movies/books inform our own reality? Why should we care about these other worlds? All are welcome to come and join to discuss their favorite stories of fantasy. Food will be provided!
