Webb had always been a special athlete. Scout.com rated him as a three-star basketball prospect coming out of Fresno’s La Mirada High School. He signed with Cal State Northridge out of high school and averaged 2.6 points in just over 15 minutes per game. Those two points, though, usually came in high-flying fashion.
