IRVINE, Calif. – In easily the best effort of any one attacker in the nation Friday night, Matador Arvis Greene set a career-high with 40 kills on a career-high 73 swings in a five-set loss at #4 UC Irvine (25-17, 25-23, 22-25, 22-25, 22-20). Both totals are tops in the nation at all divisions this year. Although it was Greene’s night, he was still disappointed in the loss.
