U.S. colleges struggle to attract foreign students amid immigration uncertainty

International applications to the University of Arizona are down 24 per cent compared with this time last year; California State University, Northridge, is down 26 per cent. The University of Houston has seen a 32 per cent drop, although it’s still accepting applications and its numbers will likely rise.
