Jazz fest at NPHS features concerts, competitions

The first concert will start at noon and feature jazz drummer, percussionist, clinician, author and educator Steve Houghton, who will perform with the Cal State Northridge Jazz “A” Band. At 6:30 p.m., Gordon Goodwin will close the festival with a special performance of the L.A. College of Music Big Band under the direction of Willie Murrillo.
