Lewis is a member of California Council for Adult Education and California Regional Occupational programs. She also serves as James A. Smith Postmaster Scholarship Foundation chairperson. She holds a bachelor’s degree in child development from California State University, Northridge (CSUN) and a master’s degree in educational management with an administrative credential from the University of LaVerne.
