This course will be provide an overview of the three tiers of CSUN’s Emergency Management & Preparedness program: university, department, and the individual. We will focus heavily on emergency procedures and recommended actions in different types of hazardous situations. Participants will come away with a clear understanding of how CSUN utilizes its emergency notifications systems to reach the campus community, the University’s emergency response structure and what resources are available to promote preparedness at a department and individual level on campus.
